\u3010Synopsis\u3011
\nEmi is a struggling, nearly 30-year-old actress. Although it\u2019s been twelve years since moving to Tokyo to realize her dream of being an actress, she has yet to show any sign of success. Returning to her hometown for the first time in years, she discovers that her childhood friends have all grown into responsible adults. Emi\u2019s mother, her boyfriend, and her friends advise her that it\u2019s time she get real about her life, which forces Emi to confront realistic matters: marriage, pregnancy, economic hardship, and aging. Still, Emi finds it difficult to abandon her ambitions, remaining convinced that she is touched by the hand of God and that a miracle is waiting just around the corner. Emi confides in Taro, a cameraman whom she accidentally met. Unlike the others, Taro believes what she says and tries to support her ambition. Feeling the encounter with Taro to be the start of a new chain of opportunities, Emi recovers her inner conviction and tries to move on.<\/p>\n
